SILHOUETTE® PORCELAIN SYSTEM
• Quality - which may be seen in the clarity of the feldspar and the richness of the rare earths
• Natural fluorescence under different lighting conditions: northern light, incandescent light, and ultraviolet light
• Beautiful natural glaze and vitality which allows the ceramist the ability to create realistic, lifelike restorations
• Does not exhibit the “gray-out” effect associated with dark oxides inherent with high palladium alloys
• Excellent handling characteristics for the novice ceramist as well as the master ceramist
• Does not tear like typical fine grain porcelains and the shrinkage is minimal with no rounding of the incisal edges
or secondary anatomy
• Fine grain structure and high coefficient of thermal expansion allow it to be fired on a wide range of alloys. The CTE for Silhouette® is 13.5 - 13.9 (25°C - 500°C); the acceptable CTE range for alloys is 14.1-15.1 (25°C - 500°C). Due to its non-greening formula, Silhouette® is an excellent choice when using silver containing alloys.

Silhouette® Super...
Enamels are fine grain opalescent enamels. They mimic the blue, white reflectance and orange transmission of human enamel. SuperTrue™ enamels add an extra dimension of vitality and naturalness to the Silhouette® Porcelain System.
SuperTrue™ enamels may be used by themselves or added to conventional enamels to increase the technicians range of colors found in natural teeth.
